Acceptance of terms
By creating a VGS account or using the Vigiscope app, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
The service
VGS is an emergency reporting and dispatch platform that connects registered users to a command center and network of verified responders. VGS is a supplementary service and does not replace official emergency services.
User responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate registration information, use the SOS and reporting features only for genuine incidents, and not misuse the platform. False reports may result in account suspension.
Account suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, submit fraudulent reports, or misuse the responder network.
Plans & billing
Emergency SOS reporting and live location sharing are free on every VGS plan, including the free Basic plan, and will never be placed behind a paywall. Paid plans (see Pricing) unlock additional convenience features, such as priority dispatch and family/circle members, and are billed on a recurring monthly basis to the payment method on file.
Cancellations & refunds
You can downgrade or cancel a paid plan at any time from your in-app account settings. Cancelling stops future billing at the end of the current billing cycle; we do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law.
Limitation of liability
While VGS is designed to route reports quickly, response times depend on factors including connectivity, responder availability, and location. VGS is not liable for delays outside its reasonable control.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
